Restoring and Creating safe public parks for phillipinos kids.

“Graceful Degradation & Progressive Enhancement are two sides of the same coin.” A perfectly worded statement by Tommy Olsson. Graceful Degradation is the older term of the two. A lot of programmers out there are so contempt to make the most beautiful graphical webpage. It’s sad to say that those people wasted most of their time in which they should have been spending it on making the page accessible rather than “pertty”. It’s been said countless of time to just keep it sweet and simple. Don’t over work yourself it’ll be fine :] . Although it is good to have something amazing looking but your main focus should be on the mainstream of users. Priority first my friend! Have your site “degraded” for those with noob specs as it will bring in more users.

A good Progressive Enhancement would be having your site being about to be displayed in multiple devices. Ex: Your site is being read on a tablet Galaxy, but also being access by another user using a iPhone App. Having accessibility on both devices are vital as both are very popular. It’s like when Apple didn’t have Flash on their iTouches and iPhones. They were crippling their users by not being able to access most site which forced their users to go with other products which could use Flash. Don’t be stubborn! Grow up and give what your users want because it is absolutely not about what you want. Don’t worry though your extra work will be well worth it :] .

XHTML is more structured and with framework, and CSS is more presentation like!! Although they both work hand in hand . XHTML is defined as a XML application and is the cleaner version of HTML. CSS changed the whole Web Design world with its personal tweaks and multiple technic.

Mobile technology going global to teach underling countries English. English is known to be the language of the world. Therefore, learning it should become useful. In Nigeria, Africa high school students are learning to communicate with english. Mobile technology is on the rise there so there are studies going on with english learning from teachers vs learning from SMS (Simple Messaging Service). Studies prove that SMS works better. So there are many potential possibilies for mobile technology as a teaching tool. For mobile design you must understand that the screen resolution is quite different. When you want to make a site for mobile use think about this issue. There’s so many new mobile devices made each day and new sites are being made by the second. So keep up with the fast pace and as always know your basics about well designed website.

As far as I’ve been reading, people have been saying that Twitter is more than what meets the eye. Normal people, in my standards, who hasn’t tried twitter would think it is all about drama and tweeting the every single movement you take, every word you say, or idea you strike. Even in commercials they show those accusations. Best thing I can tell you is to stop being a critic before trying it out. It would seem, from research, that twitter can be a powerful money-making tool and status booming capabilities. People without a bible at home can view it on twitter. People with local businesses can get their name out so people can acknowledge them. Even big time companies hoped onto twitter. There’s gotta be something there worth investing some time in. Also if you are the type who wants drama, not saying you’re right for wanting that, twitter is a great resource for that. Celebrities tweet about juicy info and post juicy pics there all the time! So even if the person you’re following doesn’t know you you’ll know all about them o,o . It’s funny to me but hey this is the life we live in today. Hop in the bandwagon and find out what twitter has in store for you! I know I will when im bored and “if” I have the time. If…
